Glen B. Appleman

Glen B. Appleman Sr., 77, a resident of Stockport, died Dec. 20, 1985 at 6:20 p.m. at the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

Born Nov. 14, 1908 in Holt County, Mo., he was the son of Frank McReynolds and Iva Ward Appleman. He was raised in Maitland, Mo. where he worked for 20 years for the Missouri State Road Maintenance Department. He had been a resident of the Stockport community for the past 20 years and had worked for several years for Raid Quarries.

He married Lucille Fullerton who survives and lives in Skidmore, Mo. Also surviving are two sons: Glen Appleman Jr. of Stockport and Jack Appleman of Carson, Iowa, one brother Doile of Maitland, Mo. plus seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Dec. 23, 1985 at the Spencer Cemetery near Stockport with Rev. Robert Butt officiating.

The Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund or the Lung Association.
