Elizabeth R. Rubel, 81, died at 3:35 p.m. March 29, 1985, at Good Samaritan Care Center.
She was born Nov. 15, 1903, at Keosauqua to William and Minnie Bartholomew Brownlee. She married Lavern Rubel on Nov. 3, 1926. He died Dec. 17, 1975.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Rubel of Blakesburg; a brother, Hollis Brownlee of Ottumwa; a sister, Willa Miller of Ottumwa; and several nieces and nephews.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home, the Rev. C.W. Staley of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday.
A memorial has been established to the First Baptist Church.
