Ray H. Sheets

Ray H. Sheets, former resident of Van Buren County, died on Jan. 3, 1985, at his home in St. Louis, Mo.

He was a graduate of Keosauqua High School in the class of 1919. He was the son of Charles W. and Anna L. Sheets.

He is survived by two daughters, Leota Bunnage and husband, Nelson of Roswell, New Mexico, and Martha Andreas and husband Richard of Fort Worth, Texas, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three brothers, Floyd F. of Fairfield, Lauren of Birmingham, Ala., and Lester of Van Nuys, Calif., and one sister, Mary at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace and two brothers, Carl and Ivan.

Services were held at the Bellefontaine United Methodist Church near his home, and burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
