Arthur W. Wiles

FAIRFIELD - Arthur W. Wiles, 65, Libertyville, died at 5 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 28, 1919, at Brighton, to William Owen and Ida Mae Leffler Wiles. He married Minnie M. Beghtol Jan. 13, 1947, at Burlington.

He was a molder for 25 years at Philco-Dexter Co. in Fairfield, was a member of Assembly of God Church, and was an army veteran of World War II.

Surviving: His wife; three daughters, Carol Peebler, Libertyville, Patricia Wiley, Lee's Summit, Mo., and Charlotte Keithley, Mesa, Ariz.; one son,Victor, Packwood; 12 grand children; two sisters, Ila Taylor, Eldon, and Esther Henderson, Burlington; a brother, Elmer, Hannibal, Mo.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, the Rev. Dwayne Potter and the Rev. Calvin Nygren; military rights at Iowaville Cemetery near Selma. A memorial has been established.
