Donald Jameson

Donald P. Jameson, 82, of 726 Pocahontas Lane died at 2:54 a.m. Aug. 24, 1984, at Ottumwa Hospital.

He was born Oct. 4, 1901, in Keosauqua to Edward and Hattie Frazee Jameson. A retired farmer from the Greenfield area, he had operated a grocery store on South Sheridan in Ottumwa. he was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He married Katherine Muskmaker in Greenfield. She died in 1959. On April 9, 1961, he married Ruth E. Rogers in Ottumwa. She died in 1974.

He is survived by three sisters, Marguerite Tuttle and Audrey DeWitt of Ottumwa and Edna Ruby of Mission, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Greenfield Township Cemetery, the Rev. William E. Olmstead of the Greenfield United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. after 5 p.m. today at the Johnson Funeral Chapel.
