Ruben Neal

FARMINGTON - Ruben Neal, 85, Farmington, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at the Keokuk Area Hospital.

He was born Aug. 15, 1899, at Brumley, Mo., to John and Mary Neal. He married Sadie Olive Goff on March 13, 1926, in Kansas. He moved to Keosauqua and later to Farmington. Mr. Neal was a retired farmer.

Surviving: Six daughters, Lillie Neal and Mrs. Ruth Poole, both of Farmington, Mrs. Alice Coleman, Danville, Mrs. Mary Martin, Revere, Mo., Mrs. Helen Lozano, Ft. Madison, and Joyce Bogguss, Kahoka, Mo.; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, the Rev. James Rozendaal; Harness Cemetery near Mt. Sterling.
