MARGARET L. HESTON

Margaret L. Heston, daughter of Nickolas and Agnes Miller Smith, was born January 4, 1916 in Wapello County and departed this life the evening of Friday, November 9, 1984 at University Hospitals in Iowa City at the age of 68.

On December 15, 1941 she married Floyd E. Heston at Kahoka, Missouri. He died in 1965. A brother, Lawrence Smith, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three step-sons, Roger Heston of Keosauqua, Charles Heston of Stockport and Jack Heston of Gulfport, Mississippi; a step-daughter, Julia Anderson of Stockport; 10 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

She had lived in the Stockport, Birmingham and Keosauqua communities and was most recently a resident of Country Lane Apartments in Keosauqua. She was a member of the Keosauqua Full Gospel Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 13, 1984 at 10:30 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Rev. Dwayne Potter officiating. Interment was in Fell Cemetery, Libertyville. A memorial was established and gifts may be left at the funeral home.
