Roberta F. Spring

FT. MADISON - Mrs. Roberta F. Spring, 62, of 19 Richards Drive, died in Burlington Medical Center at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, after a long illness.

She was born March 23, 1922, at Milton to Robert and Gladys Gaston Guthrie. She married Lawrence H. Spring Dec. 25, 1941, in Ft. Madison.

Mrs. Spring was an insurance agent for Life Investors. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the National Association of Life Women Leaders Round Table, and was a sponsor of the Ft. Madison Welcome Wagon.

Surviving: Her husband; son, Fr. Paul P., USAF, San Antonio, Texas; and daughter, Linda J. Spring, Ft. Madison.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church, the Rev. Robert Amborn; Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary: King-Lynk Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday Memorials to the Diabetes and Cancer associations have been established.
