Hazel Jean Cochran

Hazel Jean Cochran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Reisch, was born August 7, 1944 in Fairfield and died the evening of Thursday, Nov. 22, 1984 in the long term care unit of Davis County Hospital, Bloomfield at the age of 40.

She graduated from Fox Valley High School with the class of 1962 and later graduated from American Institute of Business in Des Moines. She was a legal secretary and later a real estate broker in Des Moines.

Remaining are her parents and grandmother, Mrs. Oletha Sedore, all of Cantril, other relatives and friends.

Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Des Moines as well as professional realtor's organizations.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 26, 1984 at 11 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Spears officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
