GLADYS STEDMAN

Gladys M. Stedman, 84, of Chillicothe, Illinois died at 1:47 p.m. Friday, November 2, 1984 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born July 5, 1900 in Bonaparte, Iowa to Ezra and Flora Burrier Robinson.

She married William Stedman September 24, 1917, in Bonaparte, Iowa.

He died November 29, 1977.

Surviving are two sons, Dean Stedman of Chillicothe and Stanley Stedman of Novi, Michigan; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Hazel Robinson of Havana.

She was preceded in death by one son.

She was a member of Plymouth Congregation Church and of the Women's Fellowship there.

A past president of the Chillicothe Women's Club, she also held many offices in the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 9.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 5, 1984 at Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Sensel of the First Methodist Church officiating.

Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte, Iowa.
