KENNETH GLEN STOTTS

Kenneth Glen Stotts, 56, West Point RR2, died at 12:20 p.m. Monday, September 3, 1984 at the Burlington Medical Center. He had been in failing health several months and seriously ill seven weeks.

Mr. Stotts was born October 12, 1927 at Shelbina, Missouri. He had spent most of his life in southeast in southeast Iowa. He was a correctional officer at the Iowa State Penitentiary with 15 years of service. He was of the Methodist faith.

On June 19, 1983, in Fort Madison, he married Barbara Gallaher, who survives.

Also surviving are five daughters, Toni Black, Salem, Vicki Tomfeld, Hillsboro, Sheri Wilcox, Galesburg, Terry Sue Schau, Donnellson and Jacki Stotts, Rockville Center, New York; a brother, Wallace Stotts, Keosauqua; four sisters, Ruth Smelser, Lanaster, Wisconsin, Charlotte Hufford, Farmington, Pauline Nelson, Rockford, Illinois, and Aileen Huff, Fort Madison; and seven grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. His parents were Elmer Glen and Okla Z. Helm Stotts.

Services were held Thursday, September 6, 1984, 10 a.m. at the Barr Memorial Chapel with burial in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.

A memorial is being established with the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made at the Barr Memorials Chapel.
