MARGARETTE M. CROSIER

Margarette M. Crosier, daughter of Henry and Ida Bell Cox, was born June 19, 1900 in Ray County, Missouri and departed this life the evening of Friday, August 10, 1984 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, where she had resided the past 10 years. She was 84 years of age.

In October, 1918 she married Donald D. Whiting who is deceased. In June, 1936 she married Floyd Crosier. He and a son, Don Whiting also preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie Bell Spilman of Fairfield; a son, Clinton Crosier of Slidell, Lousiana; a sister, Laveda Stokley of San Bernardino, California; a brother, Joe Cox of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grand children.

Mrs. Crosier lived a number of years in Selma before entering the care center. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 14, 1984 at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds with Rev. William Sullivan of St. Mary officiating. Interment was in Iowaville Cemetery near Selma. A memorial was established for the Arthritis Foundation.
