CLIFFORD SWEARINGEN

Clifford Swearingen, 85, of Argyle, died Wednesday, November 28, at 3 a.m. at home.

Born April 20, 1899 at Farmington, he was the son of Albert and Mina Munford Swearingen.

He married Garnet Hayden April 20, 1933 at Keokuk.

He was retired from the Steel Casting Company in Keokuk and moved to Argyle from Farmington in1972.

He is survived by nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, five sisters and three brothers.

The funeral was held Friday, November 30, 1984 at 10 a.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home at Donnellson. The Rev. Donald Strickler officiated. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
