Rex L. Miller

HILLSBORO - Rex Logan Miller, 82, Henry County Care Facility, formerly of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1984, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

He was born March 22, 1902, near Bonaparte, to Robert and Elizabeth Cleave Miller. He married Nellie Hurley at Fort Madison. She died earlier.

He was a retired farmer.

Surviving one son, Robert of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Lucy Pickard of Farmington; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Beatty Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, the Rev. Hugh A. Shively officiating. Burial was at Vale Cemetery, north of Bonaparte. A memorial has been established at the Henry County Health Facility.
