Jenny Lee Hootman, Killed In Car Accident

Sonny Hootman of Farmington received word of the death of his daughter, Airman Jenny Lee Hootman, age 21, at Air Force Base in the Phillipines, Saturday from an auto accident at the Air Base. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hootman are the grandparents. Funeral services are pending at Carlisle, Iowa.

Jennie Lee Hootman

Airman First Class Jennie Lee Hottman, stationed in the Philippines, died March 31, 1984, in an auto accident.

Airman Hootman was born on Oct. 28, 1962, the daughter of Clarence Hootman, Farmington and Mrs. Dorothy Stump of Carlisle. Airman Hootman entered the U.S. Air Force April, 1984, and had been in the Philippines the past 14 months.

She is survived by her father, Clarence Hootman, her mother, Mrs. Stump, half brothers and sister, and one brother Jake Hootman of Carlisle. Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hootman, Douds, also cousins and uncles and aunts.

Funeral services were held in the Richardson Funeral Home of Carlisle on April 9 with full military services of the Air Force in the Carlisle City Cemetery, Carlisle, Iowa.
