DELLA COX

Della Cox, 91, of Bonaparte, died Saturday, April 21, 1984 at 1:40 p.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

She married Joseph H. Cox, February 18, 1910 in Bonaparte and was a long time Bonaparte resident.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Nellie) Miller of Indianola, Mrs. Kenneth (Hattie) Church of Bonaparte, Mrs. James (Ida) Osburn of Iowa City; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, great-great-granddaughter, three brothers and six sisters.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Presbyterian Church in Bonaparte with buriel(err) in the Bonaparte Cemetery. The Rev. James Rozendaal officiated. Memorials to the Presbyterian Church may be left at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington.
