JAMES L. SHRIVER

James L. Shriver, 37, of Burlington died Sunday at 8 p.m. at his home.

Born December 13, 1936 [1946] at Farmington, he was the son of Harold and Jeanette Hols Shriver.

He married Pat Dusenberry in 1967 at Burlington.

A Burlington resident most of his life, he was employed as project engineer at the Fruehoff Coporation, Fort Madison. He was a member of the Fortune Brothers Band.

He is survived by his parents of Donnellson; three sons, Matt, Jason and Grant, all at home; one brother, Lloyd (Bill) Shriver of Fort Madison; one sister, Janet Pyatt of Virginia City, Nevada; a grandmother, Edna Hols of Donnellson.

A memorial service was held at the First Southern Baptist Church on Harrison Street in Burlington at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ralph Schenck officiated. The family received friends fron 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson. A fund was established for the children.
