JUSTIN ALFRED HOOK JR.

The funeral for Justin Alfred Hook, Jr., 20, of Bloomfield Rt. 9, was held at the Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 1984. The Rev. Charles Stevens of Burlington officiated. Burial was in the Iowaville Cemetery, Selma.

Mr. Hook was found dead near his trailer at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 13. The trailer was burned Thursday night.

Investigation into the case is continuing.

Mr. Hook was the son of Justing Hook Sr. and Sarah Lee Link, and was born April 10, 1964 in Iowa City. Most of his life was spent at LaHarpe, Illinois; he had also lived in Farmington.

He married Mary Kay Tonnies, January 17, 1981; they were divorced in February, 1984.

Surviving are: a Justin David Hook, Belleville, Illinois; his father, Justin Hook, Sr., Iowa City; step-father Rex Link, Farmington; a sister, Cynthia Moyes of Iowa City; grandparents, Clara Hook, Iowa City, and Joseph and Mildred Michael, Selma; and great-grandmother Hildred Jones, Keosauqua.
