Ethel B. Bell, 86, of Fairfield Route 1 died at 8 a.m. July 19, 1984, in Parkview Care Center.

She was born Sept. 5, 1897, in Jefferson County to Joseph and Estella Watkins Howell. She married Velmer Bell on Dec. 6, 1917. She lived most of her life in Jefferson County and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband. She was preceded in death by a son, Floyd.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. James Battey officiating. Burial will be in Glasgow Cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

Visitation is open at the funeral home.
