Raymond Horsey

Raymond H. Horsey, 75, of Farmington died Thursday, Feb. 2, 1984, at 12:15 p.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

He was born July 24, 1908 at Farmington, the son of Henry and Letha Raines Horsey. He was a farmer and spent most of his life on the same farm.

He is survived by one brother, Leslie Horsey of Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Zella) Gaylord of Davenport and Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Spiesz of Farmington.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and one sister.

The funeral was held Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson. The rev. Donald Strickler officiated. Burial was in the Embury cemetery.

Memorials to the Embury cemetery may be left the funeral home.
