Weltha Parker

Weltha Parker, 82, formerly of Douds, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1984, in a Woodland, Calif. hospital.

The daughter of Levi and Mary Heger Plowman, she was born Oct. 22, 1901 near Douds, where she lived most of her life until moving to California about 20 years ago.

On May 11, 1927 she married Frank Parker of Selma at Douds. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Darrell of Denver, Colo., Vergal of Barstow, Calif., and Veryle of Yolo, Calif., six grandchildren, a sister, Bertha Smith of Creston, Iowa, and a brother, Theodore Plowman of Douds.

The service was held Friday, Jan. 27, at the Christian Church in Woodland, Calif., with burial at Yolo, Calif. McNary Funeral Home, Woodland, was in charge of arrangements.
