Dustin Lee Scoville

Funeral services for six year old Dustin Lee Scoville were held on Friday, March 9, 1984 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Iowa. Dustin was born to Robert C. and Joanne M. (Frey) Scoville on Nov. 14, 1977. The family lived in the Birmingham area until moving to Williamsburg in April of 1979. The parents are members of the Birmingham United Methodist Church.

Dustin attended pre-school at North English and kindergarten at Williamsburg Public School. He had been ill with cancer for the last two years and has been a patient at the University Hospital in Iowa City frequently during this period of sickness. He died at the home of his parents on Tuesday, March 6, 1984, at the age of six years, three months, and 20 days.

Survivors are his parents, Robert and Joann, one brother, Ben, and grandparents, Walter and Marie Frey. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Scoville.

Rev. David Kennedy of Birmingham and Rev. A. Harold Sparks of Williamsburg officiated the service. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, Ill.
