Florette (Martin) Cassner

Florette Martin Cassner, 70, died on Thursday, Nov. 3, 1983 in her home in Oxnard, Calif., following a lengthy illness. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in Oxnard.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1913, in Milton, where she grew up.

She was a long-time resident of California, and lived in Santa Barbara before settling in the Oxnard area 32 years ago.

She and her first husband, Bill Keyser, operated the food and soda counter at Nason Drug Store in Oxnard for many years before his death.

She is survived by two sisters, Blanche Thompson and Grace Gould, both of Oxnard.

Her nephew, the Rev. Craige A. LeBretton of the United Methodist Church of Camarillo, conducted the graveside services at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
