Neta Muntz

BONAPARTE - Former Bonaparte resident Neta M. Muntz, 75, of Wood River, Neb., died Nov. 20, 1983, in Lutheran Hospital in Grand Island, Neb.

She was born March 19, 1908, at Croton to Charles and Genevieve Davis Keck. She married Rex George Heminger on April 23, 1924, at Fairfield. They farmed near Bonaparte. He died in 1948. She married Leo Muntz in 1949. He died in 1958. She was a member of the Wood River United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dewey and Doyle Heminger of Wood River; two daughters, Mary Waters of Wood River and Marilyn Overstreet of Keosauqua; a stepson, Donald Muntz of Milton; two sisters, Florence Sprouse of Salem and Elma Sondag of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Lloyd Keck of Stockport; and 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 1983 at Bentonsport United Methodist Church, the Rev. Louise Spears officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

The family will be at Pedrick Funeral Home at Keosauqua from 7 to 8 pm. Thursday.

Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
