Gertrude J. Lee

Gertrude J. Lee, 70 of 932 Tuttle, Ottumwa, Iowa died in Arlington, Va., Oct. 2, 1983. She was born July 15, 1913 in Keosauqua, to Sarah Elizabeth and Richard Lewis McDonald. She married Ralph R. Lee Oct. 31, 1931 in Carthage, Ill. She is survived by her husband and four children, two daughters, Judith Ritchie of Lordsburg, N.M. and Nancy Grimes of Cedar Rapids. Two sons, Michael Lee of Tampa, Fla., and Billy Lee of Marion, Iowa, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, one sister, Jessie Glenn of Pontiac, Mich., one brother, Duard McDonald of Eugene, Ore. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry M. and James M. Lee, one brother Clyde McDonald and both parents.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. at the Shrine of Memories Funeral Home, Ottumwa,

No memorials have been established.

Honorary pall bearers were grandsons, Kristopher Grimes, Kelly Grimes, Brian Lee, Kevin Lee, and grandsons-in-law, Thomas Siver and James May.
