MRS. BETTY L. McBRIDE

Mrs. Betty L. McBride, 53, of Farmington died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 1983 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. Death was unexpected.

Mrs. McBride was born March 9, 1930 in Argyle. She had been a resident of Farmington for 30 years and was a member of the First Baptist church in Farmington where she had been a Sunday School teacher for many years.

On January 26, 1947, at Keokuk, she was married to Don McBride, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Darrell McBride, of Farmington; a daughter, Mrs. John (Joyce) Newton of Farmington; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ware of Donnellson; a brother, Glen Ware of Farmington; three sisters, Jean Frueh of Donnellson, Glenda Townsend of Farmington, and Lois Sunden of Montrose, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 29, at the First Baptist Church in Farmington with Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington.

A memorial has been established for the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington.
