Ruth A. Aylor

Ruth A. Aylor, daughter of William and Anna Slutz Ranard, was born Oct. 9, 1916, near Giltner, Nebr. and died Thursday, July 14, 1983 at her home in Keosauqua at the age of 66.

As a young lady she moved with her family to Kilbourn, Iowa. On July 13, 1932 she married Kermit C. Aylor at Memphis, Mo. They moved to their home on North Second Street in Keosauqua where they have lived their entire fifty-one years of married life.

Remaining are her husband, two sisters, Irene Matthes of Hampton, Neb., and Gladys Gimpel of Aurora, Neb., other relatives and friends. Her parents and two brothers, Pete and Jake, preceded her in death.

At an early age Ruth united with the Christian Church and she will be remembered for her ready willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 16, 1983 at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Bob Patterson of the Keosauqua Christian Church officicating(err). Interment was in Purdom Cemetery.
