Mary E. Hootman

Mary E. Hootman, 88, of Clevelan, Ohio, died there at the Eliza Jennings Home on July 17, 1983.

She was a native of Van Buren County, born to John F. and Anna McCullough Teal on Feb. 25, 1895. She married Ira M. Hootman on May 18, 1918. He died on June 11, 1939.

Surviving are a son, John of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters Virginia Clark of Westlake, Ohio, and Lucille Fredericks of Davenport, (six) grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Friday, July 22 at the Evergreen Cemetery and memorials have been established to the Eliza Jennings Home in Cleveland.
