Isaac McBride

Isaac J. McBride, 94, of Keosauqua, died Thursday, July 21, 1983 at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

He was born June 25, 1889, in Jefferson County to Charles and Miriam Newland McBride. He was a farmer for many years in the Batavia and Libertyville area and was a member of the Brethren Church. He married Eva L. Haney March 12, 1913. She has died.

Survivors: daughters, Frances Cline of West Brooklyn, Ill. and Dorotha Ferrel of Fairfield; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank of Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 25, 1983, with the Rev. Robert Conner officiating. Interment was in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.

Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia was in charge of arrangements.
