Herman Bachman

Herman Bachman, brother of Oscar Bachman of Milton, died July 17, 1983 in Iowa City at the age of 74.

Bachman was a resident of Pulaski, born there Dec. 22, 1908 to Charles and Elise Leichty Bachman.

He married Irma Countryman on June 13,1930, near Douds. She survives.

Other survivors include sons Fred of Iowa City and Ed of Bloomfield; daughters Ermaleen Etter of Leola, Pa., and Evaleen Bertsche of Chenoa, Ill.; a sister, Alice Evans of Ukiah, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Tuesday, July 19, 1983 at Pulaski Mennonite Church, the Revs. Roy Kaufman, Paul Bohi and Bob Petersen officiating. Burial was at Pulaski Cemetery.
