FLOYD A. WOLFE

Floyd A. "Toad" Wolfe, son of Harry and Allie Keeler Wolfe was born December 26, 1900 at Troy and departed this life Friday, June 17, 1983 at Van Buren Samaritan Center in Keosauqua at the age of 82.

He married Ethel Evans who died in 1940. A daughter, Rosalie Hamberg and two brothers, Leonard and William Wolfe, also preceded him in death. Surviving are a granddaughter, Paula Hamberg of Keosauqua, nieces and nephews.

Most of his life was spent in the Mt. Sterling and Cantril communities. He farmed and was a house painter.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 20, 1983 at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Rev. Charles Butler officiating. Interment was in Harness Cemetery at Mt. Sterling.
