IVAN VON SEGGEN

Ivan Von Seggen, 72, of Farmington died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 1983 in the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Mr. Von Seggen was born June 13, 1911 at Bonaparte. He was a retired farmer and former employee of the Bonaparte Sale Barn. He was of the Methodist faith and a Farm Bureau member. He had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua for six years.

On December 26, 1948, at Farmington, he married Viola Boyer, who preceded him in death.

His only survivors are cousins, Mrs. William (Lela) Barker of Douds is a sister-in-law.

His parents were Homer and Lela Thompson Von Seggen.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 26, 1983 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, near Farmington.
