CORDELIA A. NEUENDORF

Cordelia Alberta Neuendorf, 74, of Farmington, died Sunday, December 25, 1983 at 4:20 p.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Born July 2, 1909 in Clark County Missouri, she was the daughter of Emery and Lena Cochran Worrell.

She married Willie John Neuendorf March 10, 1924 at Kahoka, Missouri. She spent most of her life on a farm at rural Donnellson. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Donnellson, the United Methodist Women and the Better Homes and Garden Club, Farmington and was a leader of the Prairie Maids 4-H club for many years.

She is survived by her husband, W.J. Neuendorf; three sons, Hilbert of Farmington, Tom of Donnellson and Jack of Keokuk; one sister, Alma Swihart of Boone; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant son, two sisters and one brother.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. Burial was in the Primrose Cemetery. The Rev. James Rozendaal officiated. A memorial was established for the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua.
