FARMINGTON - Services for William L. Edwards, 81, of Donahue were at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 1983, at Garland-VanArkel Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. Burial was in Thompson cemetery, Bonaparte.

Mr. Edwards died Monday, Dec. 26, 1983, at his home. He was retired in 1964 as railroad agent and operator in Bonaparte. He married Edith Wilson in 1941 at Keokuk. She died in 1962.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Caligraphers and the Bonaparte United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Bruce (Jane) Morrell, Donahue, with whom he made his home; two grandchildren; two sisters, Myrtle Gardner of Lincoln, Nebr., Gladys Hayes of Tustin, Calif.; three brothers, John E. and Dale, both of Oskaloosa and Stanley of Eddyville.
