FLOYD F. WARRINGTON

Floyd F. Warrington, son of John and Molli Warrington, was born Nov. 30, 1893 in Dallas County, Mo. and died Friday, Dec. 23, 1983 at Burlington Medical Center in Burlington, Iowa at the age of 90.

On Sept. 3, 1913, he married Chloe Barnett in Keokuk. She died in 1977. Also preceding him in death were two daughters, Katherine and Evelyn, two sons, Roy Francis and Dale William and four brothers.

Remaining are two sons, Gordon of Burlington and Floyd, Jr. of Hillsboro, a daughter, Lela Belle Pruitt of Phoenix, Ariz., and several grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Simon, of Chester, Montana, a sister-in-law, Vera Heisel of Stockport who assisted Mr. Warrington in maintaining his home in later years and made it possible for him to remain in his home as long as he did, other relatives and friends.

Most of Mr. Warrington's life was spent in farming in Van Buren County, and he had resided the past several years in Stockport.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 24, 1983 at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Spears officiating. Interment was in Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua.
