NANCY ANN BLEYTHING

Nancy Ann Bleything, 36, of Donnellson, formerly of Brashear and Memphis, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 21, 1983 at a hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

The daughter of Leon Wayne and Paul Ann Carlyle Skaggs, she was born June 8, 1947 at Kirksville.

Om March 27, 1965 at Kirksville, she was married to Jim Bleything. She is survived by her husband, Jim and two sons, Brandon and Shannon and a daughter, Malissa all of the home.

Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Noah (Paul Ann) Lynn of Edina and one brother, William Skaggs of Kirksville, also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Funk Sr. of Hurdland.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She lived with her parents in Fort Madison and later moved to Brashear where she graduated from the Brashear High School in 1965.

Mrs. Bleything was employed by the Elaine's Supper Club in Kirksville for about eight years and she and her husband owned an operated a grocery store and cafe in Brashear for about two years.

She and her family lived in Memphis, Mo., for about a year and a half, before moving to Donnellson, Iowa earlier this year. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Keosauqua, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 26, 1983 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Keosauqua, Iowa with Elder Gary Schoeni and Elder Ford I. Gano officiating. Music was provided by Darlene Raisor and Elizabeth Hervey. Opening prayer was provided by Sister Barbara Billings and closing prayer by Elder James Rogers.

Burial was in the Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, Northwest of Rutledge, Mo. Arrangements by the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, Edina, Mo.
