HERMAN H. KAISER

Herman H. Kaiser, son of William and Anna Brunz Kaiser was born May 10, 1899 near Bath, Illinois and departed this life Monday, December 19, 1983 at the home of his son, Craig, near Yale, Iowa at the age of 84.

Herman married Ollive Robertson, who died September 16, 1970. Also preceding him in death were his parents, two sons, Charles and Glenn, and a sister, Frieda Wilson.

Surviving are three sons, Leon of Oakland, Arkansas, Craig of Yale, and R. Ronald of Garwin and a foster son, Carl Gleason of Colo. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; three brothers, Henry of Cantril, Walter of Milton, and Albert of Peoria, Illinois; a sister, Clara Nelson of Keosauqua.

Herman farmed in Missouri and many years in the Lebanon Community. He was a Lutheran.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 22, 1983 at 1:30 p.m. in the Lebanon United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gerald Caughron and Rev. Chris Daniel officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril. A member was established for the Lebanon United Methodist Church. Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds was in charge of arrangements.
