ANNA TEMPLETON

Anna Denelda Templeton, age 61, of Grange, Missouri died Tuesday, March 8, 1983 at 7:50 a.m. at the Ellis-Fischel State Cancer Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The daughter of Charles E. and Grace M. Seth Nixon, she was born in Van Buren County, Iowa on September 5, 1921.

She married Lee M. Templeton at Kahoka, on March 23, 1942. He died December 16, 1977. Survivors include one son Richard Templeton of Keokuk; three grandchildren; two half-sisters, Mrs. Edna Reuther of Apache Junction, Arizona and Mrs. Annalee Wiseman of Goodman, Missouri, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Max Nixon.

Mrs. Templeton was a member of the Granger Presbyterian Church and the Union Sunday School Class.

Services were held Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at Shaffer and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald White officiating. Burial was in the Sharon Cemetery, rural Farmington.

Organist was Margaret Davis and pallbearers were Weston Smith, Mike Gooden, David Arnold, Charlie Boyer, Walter Billups and Gary Parrish.

Memorials may be made to Ellis-Fischel Hospital.

Shaffer and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
