ERMA R. MULLINS

Former Keosauqua resident Erma R. Mullins, 61, died April 29, 1983 at her home in Carthage, Illinois. Cause of death was heart failure. She is survived by her husband Leon, a son Larry of Hamilton, Illinois, a daughter Deborah K. Holder of Bloomington, Illinois, three grandchildren and one great-granchild.

The funeral was Monday, May 2, at First Christian Church in Carthage with burial in Moss Ridge Cemetery.

During their years in Keosauqua, she was employed at the Van Buren Telephone Company and at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital. Her husband "Moon" Mullins was employed at Archie's Store. They moved from the community 19 years ago.
