MYRLE JACKSON

Myrle Jackson, 83, of Farmington, died Sunday, February 6, 1983 at 12 p.m. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Born May 12, 1899 in Ruskin, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Martin and Ollie Jones Wright.

She married John William Jackson on November 25, 1925 at Keosauqua.

A resident of Farmington since 1944, she was a housewife. She was a member of the Christian Church, Keosauqua; also the P.E.O., American Legion Auxiliary and the Better Homes and Garden Club at Farmington.

She is survived by one son, John William Jackson of Arvada, Colorado; and four sisters, Marie Fellows of Neodesha, Kansas, Elsibel Christian of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alma Hilton of Central City, Nebraska and Verla Wright of Sacramento, California; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

The funeral was held at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, Tuesday, February 8, at 1 p.m. with Robert Hambright officiating. Burial was at Purdom Cemetery at Keosauqua.

Memorials were established for the Farmington United Methodist Church.
