A. Essary Dies At 55

ELDON - Anna M. Essary, 55, died Saturday at University Hospitals in Iowa City after an illness of six months.

Services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home with the Rev. earl Menning presiding. Burial will be in Iowaville Cemetery.

Mrs. Essary was born Aug. 17, 1921 in Ottumwa, the daughter of John and Myrtle Farrington Fridley. She was married to Albert Essary Oct. 1, 1938. He died in 1972.

Mrs. Essary was a member of the Eldon Christian Church, ONO Club, TOPS Club and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Fridley, Bloomfield, and the following children: Mrs. Wilbur Verploegh, Oskaloosa; Mrs. Russell Wehr, South English; Mrs. Alberta Cubbage, Des Moines; Mrs. Jane Willard and Mrs. Bill Metcalf, both of Douds; Mrs. Bill Cloke, Burlington; Mrs. Bill Cloke, Burlington; Mrs. Charles Neill and Bill Essary, both of Eldon.

Also surviving are a sister and four brothers, Mrs. Irwin Blake and Howard Fridley, both of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; Jack Fridley, Arkansas City, Kan.; Jim Fridley, Ottumwa; Jess Fridley, Kirksville. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.
