SARAH M. JAMESON

Sarah M. Jameson, age 82, passed away Sunday, March 6, 1983, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield where she had been a patient for 2 1/2 years.

She was born July 5, 1900 in Texas County Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Sara Hull Hewitt. She married Harry C. Jameson on August 22, 1917. He preceded her in death, December 10, 1963.

Surviving are four sons, Rex and John of Burlington, Harry of West Burlington, and Robert of Eugene, Oregon; two daughters, Lemira Collett and Doris Niday, both of Williamsburg, Iowa; 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and an infant great-grandson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jameson were held Wednesday, March 9, at the Birmingham United Methodist Church with Rev. David R. Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Burch Funeral Home of Birmingham was in charge of arrangements.
