Charles L. Marmion

Farmington native Charles L. Marmion, 57, Putnam, Ill., died on Friday, March 18, 1983, at Spring Valley, Ill.

He was born May 29, 1925, to Ben and Florence Woodworth Marmion. He married Olive Haff Feb. 26, 1947, at Farmington.

Mr. Marmion was an inspector for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 32 years. He was a World War II veteran.

Surviving are his wife; daughter, Elizabeth Jackson, Peoria, Ill.; son, Silas L. Marmion; four grandchildren; two sisters, Eula Huff, Keosauqua, and Martha Marmion.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, Farmington United Methodist Church, the Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Burial was at Green Glade Cemetery, Farmington. A memorial was established to the American Cancer Fund.
