Martha Henshaw

Mrs. Martha Henshaw, 97-year-old life resident of the Farmington area, died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 1983, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

She was born Jan. 21, 1886, to August and Caroline Bockelman Borman. She married Elmer Henshaw Aug. 24, 1929, in Farmington; he died earlier.

Mrs. Henshaw was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are two nieces, Ethel Hart, Davenport, and Margaret Von Motz, Moline, Ill.; and step-grandson, Dean Henshaw, Fort Madison.

Funeral services were held on Friday, March 11, 1983, at Hofbauer Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was at the Farmington Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Farmington Baptist Church.
