Marie Westercamp

Marie J. Westercamp, 69, of Keosauqua Route 2 died at 9 a.m. Feb. 12 in Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, where she had been a patient the past four weeks.

She was born May 20, 1913 in Wapello County to Ralph and Ella Lynch Helm. She married Fred A. Westercamp Nov. 17, 1932, at Lancaster, Mo. She was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors: her husband; sons Ralph H. of Florissant, Mo., and Daniel L. of Ottumwa; daughters, Tessie Lane of Stockport, Honor Loy Hickenbottom of Libertyville, Shirley Maxwell of Burlington and Minette Giberson of Stockport; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald Helm of Pella.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stockport United Methodist Church, the Revs. Kenneth Hardin and Kermit Black officiating. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield.
