MRS. FEROL WELLBORN

Mrs. Ferol Wellborn, 84, of Cantril, died early Monday, February 7, 1983, at her home of an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Wellborn was born October 20, 1898, in Scotland County, Missouri. She was a member of the Cantril United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was married to S.E. (Tom) Wellborn, with whom she had farmed and operated a general store at Cantril. He preceded her in death in 1974.

She is survived by four sons, Bert of Donnellson, Beryl of Grinnell, Paul of Plano, Texas and Max of Cantril. Ten grandchildren and four great-grand-children also survive.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Her parents were Bert and Eva Boyer Eggleston.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cantril United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Butler officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery near Cantril.

Memorials have been established with the Cantril United Methodist Church and the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital. Contributions may be made at the Pedrick Funeral Home.
