John Mutchler

John Albert Mutchler, 68, of Farmington Route 2, died January 2, 1983 at 11:50 p.m. in University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Born July 24, 1914 at Edina, Mo., he was the son of Fred and Rebecca Stutsman Mutchler.

He married Mabel Snell on April 7, 1934 at Macon County, Missouri.

He moved to Farmington from Burlington in 1979 and was retired. He had worked for 27 years for Lehigh Leopold Corporation at Burlington.

He was a member of the Assembly of God church at Edina, Mo.

Surviving are his wife Mabel of Farmington; his mother of Farmington; two sons, Jack Mutchler of Farmington and Lorence Mutchler of West Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Verle (Frances) Fenton of Burlington; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his father and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 6, 1983 at 11 a.m. at Hofbauer Funeral Home and burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery.
