JASON BENJAMIN ROSS

Jason Benjamin Ross, infant son of Sergeant William Ross, Jr. and Wanda Miller Ross, was born January 13, 1983 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua, and died January 19, at his home in Memphis, Missouri. Death was attributed to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Surviving are his parents of Fort Sill, Oklahoma; two brothers, William III and Timothy; a sister, Susan Leeann, all at home. Also surviving are grandparents William Ross, Sr., Kewanee, Illinois, Dorothy Blakley of Ottumwa, and Virginia Wagner of Fairfield; great grandparents Helen Ross in Arizona and Mabel Lewman of Keosauqua; a great, great grandmother, Goldie Ross of Ottumwa.

Services were held Saturday, January 22 at 1 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating. Interment was in Pittsburg Cemetery.
