BERTHA ANN LEE

Bertha Ann Hackard Lee, 87, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday, December 14, 1982, in Sacramento, California.

She was born August 5, 1895, near Mt. Sterling to William M. and Margaret Ann Shuey Hackard.

Surviving: two sons, Howard, Ottawa, Kansas, William, Cedar Falls; two daughters, Evelyn Tucker, Folsom, California, Virginia Radke, Grand Junction, one brother, Clyde Hackard, South Ben, Indiana; 15 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 18, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Burial was in Harness Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
