Funeral services for Mrs. Colleen A. Breitenbucher, 59, who died Monday, September 20, 1982, at the Keokuk Area Hospital was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23, at the St. Francis de Sales Church with Rev. Ernest Braida officiating, assisted by Rev. David Goetsch and Rev. Ronald Young.

Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery.

A rosary was recited by the Rev. David Goetsch at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Greaves Mortuary.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.

She was born March 18, 1923, at Farmington, daughter of Joseph and Georgianna Weisharr O'Brien. She was married to Ralph P. Breitenbucher June 20, 1946 at Keokuk.

She was a Keokuk resident for 41 years and a member of the All Saints Catholic Church. She was a past president of the Keokuk Chapter of the American Cancer Society and the Keokuk Education Association.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a son, Joseph O'Brien Breitenbucher of Miami; a daughter, Mrs. Danny (Susie) Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Goodman of Donnellson and Mrs. Loretta Hartrick of Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
